«We had a wonderful stay in the Cart Lodge cottage. Location was perfect - easily accessible from the main yet very quiet and secure with plenty of parking. Cottage had everything we needed - including very comfortable beds, well-equipped kitchen (we cooked multiple times) and a cozy sitting room. Best feature: the sheep! Loved watching them from the window and feeding them digestive biscuits in the morning. We would definitely stay again.»

«Lovely quiet place for a short break. Local pub is very friendly and location is not too far from places to visit by car. Glamping Pods very clean as well as toilet block and also well equipped. No issues and really liked that on the day of departure the owner came to say goodbye and ask how our stay was.»

«If you love a peaceful country retreat then this is for you. Wildlife all around. The owner could not be more helpful. Peacocks at the back door herds of dear and flocks of amazing rheas much better than advertised. You do need a car with good clearance for the track through the forest but it's worth it as it all ads to the amazing adventure. Thank you once again to our host Martin who meets guests at the gate to lead you through the forest.»

«Amazing property in a beautiful area - a big group of my friends went here for a long weekend and the property had soany amenities to keep us entertained the whole weekend (pool, hot tub, ping pong table, sauna, pool table, big garden). We brought our own volleyball nets and rounders kits and had a blast. Jacqui was a lovely host and even supplied us with some veg! Would highly recommend for big groups or people who want to hike around the area too.»

«Great location!! Shepherds hut fully equipped and well thought out, even has a picnic basket and blanket. Host is super friendly and helpful. Easy access to local community, walks, cycle tracks through beautiful forests with picnic spots along the way. Safe environment and free parking a short walk from the accommodation. Braai (barbecue) and fire pit. As SAFFA’s was great to sit around the fire under the stars braaing marshmallows. Thanks for an awesome stay.»

«We had an amazing stay. Bob and Liz were lovely and friendly hosts, provided a really nice breakfast and a nice, tasteful welcome package in the fridge. The authentic cottage was a lovely and peaceful place to stay, well renovated and well accomodated. As is the case in most cottages, some of the beams and ceilings are quite low, so watch your head. The walks on the grounds between the bluebells are an absolute must in spring. In the nearby area the places to visit are Plaw Hatch Farm, Bluebell ...

"Ashdown Park Hotel har en fantastisk beliggenhet i et nydelig og stille område. Standard på hotellet generelt og rommet spesielt kan best beskrives som "ærverdig britisk hotellstandard" med store og luftige fellesareal i form av restauranter, bar og "afternoon tea-salong". Rommet var stort og elegant med flott bad. Restauranten kunne gjerne hatt en noe mer avansert meny og serveringspersonalet var noe preget av begrenset erfaring. Hotellet har også SPA-tilbud med basseng, men det passet ikke for oss å bruke dette, så derfor ingen vurdering."
