«This property was clean and as advertised. we stayed in the upstairs, 2 bed/1 bath unit. Our balcony was right over the river and offered beautiful waterfront views. Our 3 night stay was pleasant and mostly quite. (our stay was over 4th of July, that is why I said "mostly".) We would definitely stay here again if we return to the area.»

«Next to the river. Convenient location to downtown and Vienna, WV. Very spacious, but need to upgrade the facility. It is fair and reasonable price for the area. Need coins to use the washer. BBQ ribs next to the facility is fantastic!!»

«We had an amazing stay at The Historic Buckley House! The host was extremely responsive and friendly. Check-in was a breeze. The house is beautiful, full of character, and in a perfect location. We didn’t want to leave!»

«The host was wonderful in communicating! The place is super cute, private, clean, and comfortable. I would note that if you are 6'2" it will be a bit tight in the shower, but the water is good and hot and the shower head has good pressure! The loft ladder could be a bit heavy for a small person, but it is doable. The location is very convenient for Parkersburg/Marietta. Parking is gravel, but very well maintained. It is a great little place to stay!»

«Cute little cabin. Very clean. Comfortable. Had a good overnight stay. Triple nickel diner down the road delicious. Recommend this cabin!»

«It was July 4th weekend and my goal was to find a place AWAY from crowds and fireworks as my dog is petrified of the fireworks. This location met that goal perfectly -- not a pop to be heard! It's also quite close to The Buckeye Trail which we enjoyed hiking on and a wonderful little diner with local, farm-raised meats, produce and baked goods. Great little gem in a beautiful area.»

«Absolutely love this rustic cabin! Location is conveniently situated for easy access to the interstate but tucked back on the river front for some seclusion. Beautiful sunsets and sunrises over the open agricultural field on one side and wooded separation from a few quiet neighbors on the other side. Walking bridge connects to the well lit path down to the dock for fishing/boating/kayaking/pedal boat as well as a well lit deck with nice outdoor furniture for relaxing and conversation. «Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us Wendi, we had a great time.»

«The stay was great, it was exactly what I expected. Perfect get away. Check in was easy and Chad was very great at communicating. Will definitely go again.»

«Cute tiny home. Clean, cozy, and reasonably priced. Close to Athens and to hiking and kayaking.»
