«For $324.00 I was very disappointed! The hotel is VERY OLD!! The bed mattress, you can fill and hear the springs, and pillows were anything but firm, the pillow cases said FIRM and SOFT. The bathroom door is rusted and peeling. The tv didn’t work, the air conditioner did not work and to top it off there was a dog next door to me barking the whole night!!! «What a little jewel box in a great location. The check-in, cleanliness and directions to the property were great. It looked quite small when we pulled up, but as soon as we walked in it was spacious and very well layed out The photos are quite accurate, notes were very helpful throughout the cottage to know where things are and how things work. »

«We could not find location in dark and rain. Only given GPS info and no name of hotel or property. Once we arrived guard at guardhouse could not assist as we could not affirm name. When finally able to track down contact info for the vacation property company that listed the rental they had to share hotel front desk info and that’s when we learned name was Windrose On Hudson. Very stressful situation- enjoyed historical location. Great facility, not so great TV/streaming set-up… cable. »

However, the two window units were just not sufficient to cool the house, nor were they situated in places where the air was able to circulate throughout the house.
