«Historic Hideaway was perfect stay while we were in town for a wedding. It is definitely a historic house. We loved it. The bedding was nice and the mattresses in all the rooms appeared newish and were very comfortable. It has large common spaces to gather and visit or watch tv. We did not cook, but the kitchen seemed well-appointed and having coffee and tea available was nice. And an electric corkscrew - who could ask for more!Because it is an old house it has short ceilings and door frames ...

«The host, Sy was friendly & communicative, she made our arrival easy and welcoming leaving special treats our kids loved upon our arrival. We've stayed in several incredible homes through VRBO and this one checks all the boxes! It was a perfect setting for our Thanksgiving holiday with our family. «After arriving to another home without any electricity, we reached out to David who accommodated us right away! The home was clean, inviting and very spacious for our two families to enjoy. The kids loved the basement, basketball hoops, and huge yard. We all enjoyed the hot tub, firepit and open family spaces. Have already recommended to other groups looking for a serene family getaway.»

I found this home and it was such a beautiful and special place for us to be together as a home away from home versus a hotel.It’s in a setting of woods, dirt road, cicadas and frogs serenading us. The house is old, history, and each room has a theme, loved the old wood floors. This house really was so wonderful to come back to and enjoy both inside and outside. ...
