«This place is okay. When we first entered, we were impressed but the longer we stayed, the more we realised little things that weren't entirely up to scratch. The entrance to the building look a little battered, for starters. It was hot in the flat, one of the two windows couldn't open (the handle was loose), the carpet was worn, and we blew a fuse practically every time we cooked. Also one of the sockets didn't work. For the price, though, this was a good offer, and we would stay there again. »

«I booked this place knowing little other than it was close enough to Cardiff for us to stay after the Bruce Springsteen concert. It was very well appointed, with a well equipped kitchen / dining room, spacious wet room, large bedroom and lounge with a sofa bed. And a hot tub in the communal garden area! One point that is not related to the accommodation that I wish I’d known - some of the roads are very narrow and as it’s a very hilly area there are a few hairpin bends which I found difficult ...

«We spent Thurs-Mon in Jane and Malcolm’s lovely cottage. The location is incredible and we were blessed with some fantastic weather! The cottage had everything we needed. The sheep and chickens outside are brilliant and our little one had so much fun watching them. Our dog has been on some incredible walks in the woods on the doorstep and at some of the tourist areas nearby. We’ve had such an amazing stay and can’t that Jane enough for being a wonderful host! «DO NOT STAY HERE. It is not in a safe neighborhood. As you open the first door you can hear the noise from the other “apartments”. The apartment is in the second floor. NO LIFTS available. The stairs are steep and not wide enough to bring up any large suitcases. The description of the property does not mention any stairs. The rooms are TINY and the “apartment” smells like mold. «The property owners were great and made sure our arrival was welcoming with great info and welcome pack. The property is a unique original cottage with hone comforts and incredible view. There are some great walks and lots of activities nearby and a visit to ye older ferrie inn is a must. As with anywhere in this area to get the most you have to prepared to be a bit active and there are a few steps required to get down to the cottage but definitely worthwhile.
