«Three Trails is ideally located in downtown Elkin. It, however, is located next to an active railroad line and trains do sound their horns early in the mornings and sometimes at night. Three Trails is also on the corner of the main street junction of the city. Therefore, there is street noise. «The kitchen was fully equipped for cooking, and it was a very nice secluded lot . We greatly appreciated the accommodations and it worked out perfectly for the wedding venue that was only five minutes away. The only thing that I would recommend is that the showerhead be looked at because there was low pressure there but other than that, we had a great time and enjoyed every minute of it, especially hearing the water from the small creek at the back of the property! «Quality mattress, bedding, & pillows (with bedding options in the closet.) Decor that inspires relaxation & calm. Along a quaint historical street with multiple stores & small cafes and taverns. Enjoyed our stay & will visit again on future long distance trips for a peaceful “rest stop.” Couches in living room are only loveseat sized, not very cushy & less than ideal for larger or taller persons, but not uncomfortable enough to warrant a complaint or deduct from our stay.»
