When we called the manager she showed up and pointed to the cabin and said the door is open you can go on in. «The manager said we had to check in before 10 pm. We put in reservation that we were checking in late and getting off the train from Folleyette. Then said we needed to pay 10 more because there was 2 of us and that our reservation only had 1 adult. Wanted us to pay that at restaurant next day. The receipt plainly said 2 guests. Confusing as to where place was and how to check in. Didn’t get room that was reserved. Reserved 9. Manager said use #4 but #4 had someone in it. Slept in #2»

«The stone steps and wooden staircase to the front door are quite uneven, slanted and in poor repair. The driveway is uneven as well. We were 4 Seniors and found it quite difficult to enter/exit the building, particularly, with our luggage. The beds were comfortable. The overall property is tired and warn. The kitchen is fairly well equipped but could benefit from additional cutlery. We visit Sudbury regularly but will not rent this place again unless it goes through an upgrade.»

«This place was a perfect location for a disc golf tournament. The rooms are basic that suited our needs. Beds were very comfortable. Needed a more thorough deep cleaning however, and definitely in need of upgraded pots and pans and shower curtain. Communication wasn’t the best. Had a minor issue that never got resolved. Please note: there are many stairs…to approach the front entry way and then once inside for the multiple levels.»

The only issue we had was that the beds creaked anytime you rolled over, but the view of the lake from the rooms was amazing.
