«Green Gable is an old hotel in a quiet area. It looks nice from the outside and we were lucky to get one of the parking spaces outside the hotel. We rented flat B on third floor. It was bigger than expected. Quite old fashioned and not very cosy, but ok for the two nights we stayed. There was a Sainsbury local just around the corner, but we went in the car to go to town. For a couple of nights I would reccomend it, but for a longer stay I would prefer a to stay at a cosier hotel. A plus for ...

«A staff member advised that the hotel is focused on catering to venues. A wedding was being held when we were staying. We were advised by the hotel in advance but after booking through Expedia. The best parts of the hotel are reserved for the event leaving hotel guests not part of the event to be catered for in poorer situated parts.
