«This hotel was uniquely beautiful. We loved all of the character and history inside. I was a bit nervous from the not perfect reviews, but my family of 6 enjoyed our one night here. We had a one bedroom suite with two bathrooms, two queen beds, and a sofa bed. It was a large suite and we definitely loved having two showers. «The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly. The pictures representing the hotel however, were misleading. They made the rooms, lobby, pool, and breakfast area appear considerably larger than they were. For a bargain price, I would have been satisfied, however, for the exorbitant price we paid, I expected more.»

«Our stay was overall very good, but the breakfast could use an improvement. Many guests have dietary restrictions, such as being vegetarian or eating only halal meat. While we understand the limitations of a complimentary breakfast, it would be highly appreciated if different food items were kept separate. For example, keeping the eggs and pork in completely different trays would make a huge difference for those with dietary restrictions. Thank you»

«We enjoyed the hot beverage station in the lobby. Our only complaint was that they need to enforce a noise policy for guests who gather in the lobby or upstairs sitting area that is right outside of guests’ rooms. More than a dozen noisy people gathered in the small 2nd floor area which was right outside our door late in the evening until after 10 pm, The area is open to the lobby below, so the front desk attendant was very aware and didn’t do anything about it until we went down to complain. ...

«This place is very neat. It is walkable to many restaurants. We also walked the nearby BEAUTIFUL campus of Washington and Lee university. It was clean. Staff was great. Stay here!»
