«We enjoyed our stay here and will put it on our list to stay again in the future. We had everything we needed. Communication was great the entire time. The water in the sinks for some reason was hotter than the shower water even when turned to full hot, so we stayed a little chilly in the shower the first night there. I asked Ginger the following morning if the water heater could be turned up and they took care of it right away. We had warm showers when we returned that night which was sooo ...

«The property was very clean, spacious enough for me, my husband and four kids. Very peaceful, hot tub was a plus for after hours to wind down after a long day of fishing from the private pond. The camper was equipped with everything we needed to cook and grill with. Kevin was an excellent host, and we plan on making more trips to his property.»

«The cabin’s interior was clean and tidy, with eclectic decor and a working pinball machine (so fun!). There is central air that works very well and stands up to that southern Illinois humidity. The shower was perfect for my 6’5 husband and had great water pressure. You’re surrounded by deep woods but only a few minutes outside of Carbondale, a short drive to Giant City, and all of the other great places in the area. «This property owner is non communicative with both guests and VRBO. They will eventually, at the last minute when prompted by vrbo, send check in instructions and say they expect a 5 star review. We would not feel safe traveling to this property (especially with children) without solid communication. All onus is placed on guests no matter the circumstances. This property owner knows that and works in those parameters. Cannot in good faith recommend this property or host.»
