«This property is a hidden gem. We used it as our base for a short trip to OBX. Columbia is a peaceful town with a lovely boardwalk along the Scuppernong River and this home is located within walking distance of the small main street and boardwalk. Coming from the triangle area, it was nice to have a shorter drive to get to our accommodations coming down and to be ahead of the OBX return traffic coming home. «My husband and I stayed here for a quick weekend trip to attend the bear festival in Plymouth. The house was perfect for our needs. We have stayed in a lot of VRBO’s and the bed was one of the most comfortable ones we have ever slept in. Sadly, we didn’t see any bears.
