«The home was inviting. We enjoyed our stay. It would have been nice to know of construction going on next door. That was a bit of an inconvenience because of the noise so early in the mornings...vacations we tend to like to sleep in a little later than normal.. We loved the sleepy town feeling of the island. We would choose to stay here in the future once the construction is finished.»

«We enjoyed this house and the location. It was reasonably spacious, very clean and not overburdened with beach-themed tchotchkes. One particular episode to note: the kitchen sink faucet broke during our stay and the Carolina Retreats personnel were very helpful finding a plumber on short notice to replace it. Everyone was gracious and efficient and we want to note our appreciation. »

«Great communication from our host. Absolutely loved the open kitchen, dinning area and living room. It was perfect for our family and Thanksgiving dinner. The house was cheerful and the decks were amazing. Loved that the outdoor shower had hot and cold water. It was perfect for warming up after fishing and shark tooth hunting! Location was perfect, close to the shops and close for our Marine to come and go as needed. Loved being on the beach! Will definitely be back! »
