«This is the cutest little place, and it served as the perfect NYE getaway from the city noise and lights for me & my dog. They have everything you could need on hand and the close proximity to Lake Le-Aqua-Na State Park was just the cherry on top. «Don't overlook this property if you're going to Rockford! There were many positives we experienced with both the property and hosts. We were happy to have access to the EV charger. It's pretty powerful too! The hosts were responsive to my misunderstanding with removing an adapter, going out of their way to quickly remedy the situation, and follow up to make sure it was working.There's a fire pit out back, a pretty nice set up with chairs and plenty of firewood available to burn! «Apartment was clean, down to earth (literally, lol...semi-basement apartment, but totally comfortable and plenty of air and light), both furnished and kitchen stocked with the basics, neighborhood was quiet, and bed was comfortable. Considering the sketchy reviews of hotels in the area and that the only dependable one was the Holiday Inn (which charges *Chicago* rates), this was an excellent place to stay. Highly recommended!»
