«Beautiful and comfortable hotel. Rich in history. The rooms look a bit weared down, but being a hotel from 1891 that is no surprise. We had only good experiences with the staff and the food at the main restaurant was good. To bad that we had already filled our plates at breakfast when we discovered another room with delicious Sri Lankan breakfast food. I'm afraid quite a few people don't notice that room.

«My room, the views, landscaping/grounds, quality of the facilities, and food at this hotel are all superb and honestly in my view worthy of a much heftier rate. I cannot say enough good things about this hotel. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to stay in this Nuwara Eliya!»

«Our stay at Araliya Green City was amazing. We received a traditional welcome (lighting of Oil lamp, garland) Our room ws sòoooooo spacious. It had 4 washrooms, 3 fire places, 2 massive king size beds, living room, dining room, fully functional kitchen with 5 appliances. Washer and dryer. It had the best view. Special Thanks to Thiyagu at the front office who treated us like family. The General Manager - Dinesh pays attention to every details..»

«Checkin: perfect, everything went smoothly, warm welcome with information about the hotel, tea from own production and a warm cloth.
Staff: helpful and attentive, always at our service!
Overall: perfect experience from beginning to end!! The hotel is originally a tea plantage from the 1930s, and the traditional style, from staff uniforms, to machinery, and building exterior and interior is all preserved in plantation style. You can also find closeness to tea in the food and drinks.

«we had a lovely time in Galway Heights. We really liked the location in a small rural road close to a hindu temple and small village and in the tea plantations. Breakfast was very nice, and the staff very attentive. The only grievance was the lack of elevator. We would definitely recommend this.»
