«This property really wowed us. The building was constructed in 1891 and definitely had the feel that it was. It was originally a mansion for a local physician and reimagined into a hotel with Creeky stairs and floors which added to the old time feel and was so fun. The cleanliness was great and nothing short of an almost luxurious experience. Would stay again any day of the week. The windowblind in bedroom didn't function and was torn, shower door was sticky, kitchen faucet was loose, only one set of bathtowels (Yes, I looked in vanity for the extras but found a lovely person who brought us more); deck had a sketchy corner of eavestrough sticking out that should be looked at. Still only ONE bathrobe for two guests (why??) Love the ...

«The pictures don't really do it justice as we were able to fit 7 adults and 2 children very very comfortably for this fantastic stay. The 2 full kitchens came quite in handy to cook for the large group. The hot tub was quite useful as we had overcast days which weren't great for the beach. The view of the water was fantastic. Condiments for cooking , ketchup etc in fridge, vase for flowers, cord for my flip 5 that I forgot at home… and the most thoughtful host I have ever met. The place was so tastefully decorated I felt pampered just walking in the door It was a remarkable find !»

«The apartment is, as advertised, a very attractive basement apartment. Be prepared for some challenges getting in and out through the garage door, but other than that, I had no real complaints about the cleanliness or amenities of the apartment. One other possible word of warning - the soundproofing leaves a bit to be desired, so you will hear a lot of noise when people upstairs are walking, but that's a decent tradeoff considering the amenities and price of the rental overall.»
