«I had to wait to check in as staff were not at desk. When she arrived, she was helpful enough. The hallways were dark and a bit dingy. In the room, the shower gel was out and the carpet near the temperature control was wet. When I entered the room, there was a chemical smell. I was very surprised by the condition of the property since I expect Country Inn and Suites to be of higher quality - and the price was not cheap. Breakfast was OK. I would never recommend this place.»

«The gentleman at the front desk was very helpful and kind. The room was worn and tired. While it was “clean,” it was overly perfumed—I think to cover up more unpleasant smells. The bathroom smelled of urine. The air conditioner did not cool the room. The breakfast was lacking compared to other hotels in the chain. I’ve never had a breakfast at a hotel where they dictated things like only taking one yogurt. When I reserved the room, the price indicated the hotel would be a typical chain ...

«Cleaning of the room was not proper. Dust, stains on the toilet and dirty carpet. Not good enough.»

«The room was very clean and the air conditioning worked. There was no staff on site as it had self check in. The room was OK, but had no chairs! We had beach chairs and set them up in the room! There was also no coffee maker or Kleenex. Snacks were supposed to be available, but we did not get any. The bed had plastic-y polyester sheets. It was very inexpensive, but should have at least had tissues, a chair and coffee maker.»

«People should be aware when there are residents at hotels. This one appears to be a halfway house with a sign posted that there are no alcohol allowed on the property among other things that will get this posting taken down if I mention. Check how much this place gets to house the unhoused while you pay $160 a night. And are those residential smoke alarms? Ours was unhooked and placed in the drawer when we arrived.»

«The place is beautiful! Right on Lake Michigan with the best sunsets Iv ever seen. Although the pool was great and shuffleboard was cool the WiFi didn’t work at all and I couldnt get any service on my phone. Normally I wouldn’t complain but there also wasn’t a tv. So there was nothing for my ten year old son and I could do after dark. I don’t think anyone checked in on us to ask how our stay was going or if we needed anything. It made us feel a little out of place. The photos were wrong as well, ...
