«We rolled in around 9pm and they let me park my truck and 18' boat in front of the hotel under a light for security. The girl at the front desk was a hoot and sincerely welcomed us. «Our family contacted scabies at this property. My husband was immediately affected and we first thought it was poison ivy from a hike. This spread all over his body, to our children and to me requiring 8 trips to the doctor, prednisone for 3 family members before it was diagnosed as scabies. My husband and I both missed work and income from the outbreak. The property management said they would take it seriously and get back to us. They did not respond to our repeated messages. «Cute cabin. Very nice & clean. The WiFi would not work so we couldn’t watch tv or stream our phones bc of no WiFi so that was a bummer. The key entry process wasn’t easy. The key lock would not work but we somehow managed to get the key pad on the door to work. It was pretty cold inside so considering it was 30* outside. «This was a beautifully decorated little cabin. The bed was super comfortable, and the furnishings were in the farmhouse cabin style. Everything appeared to be brand new including the hair dryer the kitchen appliances the dishes and cutlery. We couldn't have asked for a nicer place to stay with our two little dogs while visiting Mount Sterling over Thanksgiving 2025. The only negative comment I could possibly make is regarding the road.
