«There was no hot water in my room, i had to take an ice cold shower in the morning. Staff supposedly knew about it when I checked in :(»

«Lovely room, helpful staff, everything was very clean.»

«AWESOME hotel! Great staff, rooms are exquisitely appointed with color and style. Beds are SUPERB: slept better in their bed than my own lol! Will be back!»

«God mat, fint spa- og badeområde. Hyggelig betjening og greie rom»

«Room was cold. Very dated. Mattress uncomfortable. Bathroom was freezing, dirty and rundown. Shower rubbish Service friendly. Breakfast lovely»

«Staff are more than helpful and friendly. Facilities are lovely especially the pool at night time! Only bad thing is the breakfast isn't that nice and you don't get much on your plage. The full English breakfast didn't taste all that nice and it definitely isn't a full breakfast»

«Vakkert gammelt hotell i grønne og landlige omgivelser. Rommene er rene og hyggelige og maten er god. Jeg anbefaler hotellet for dem som vil ha rolige, vakre omgivelser. Det er langt til nærmeste butikk eller restaurant. »

«Great location, nice atmosphere and service. Almost like home. Can definitely recommended.»

«Room was lovely and clean and we had a modern bathroom. Staff were very friendly, food was excellent and service was great. Parking was easy and cheap (6 pounds I think) and the property is gorgeous. We had a room upstairs which was fantastic, our friends had one down the corridor which was different and not as nice. The only thing was the bed - it was extremely hard and impacted our ability to sleep well. If there was a topper or a different mattress I would stay again in a pinch, or just stay ...

«On arrival I was told I’ve been downgraded to a standard room after paying for a premium room. Pretty rude staff wouldn’t change your alter and just saying I will just take it off the bill at the end. That wasn’t the answer what the answer I wanted was I’m sure your room isn’t available, but we can upgrade you to Different room, ordered two £40 steaks meals most of it was Fat with about eight chips overall we won’t be coming back really underrated for what you»

«Helt ok hotel for overnatting. Prise hekt ok. Noe varmt rom, kun vindu for lufting. Hadde rom lå rett ovenfor hvor folk står å røyker, derav røyklukt på rommet.»

«The rooms are ok, but the food is a bit inconsistent for our our stay. The breakfast was fine but the service was slow due to lack of staff. (20 mins for some gluten free toast) The British obsession with dogs such that they welcome them into the hotel is somewhat puzzling as food is being served in the bar yet dogs are being feed by the owners from the table! The hotel has an odour of dog which really should not be there. No dogs should be around any place that is serving food!!! However the ...

«Rooms are basic but very clean. Staff were very helpful and attentive.»

«Stayed for two nights as a stop over whilst going homeward. Wanted to have a look around the area. Room was small but adequate. Clean with en-suite shower. Ate in the dining area of the pub both nights and enjoyed the food. Informal but friendly service by all, and a nice relaxed atmosphere. Recommend a walk to the canal and then the walk to Gloucester on the tow path. It’s well paved and flat and about three miles.»
