They said that there were no other rooms available, even though we could see on hotels.com that rooms were still available for booking the same days. «Wow…Words can’t describe enough the service and stay at this Lodge&Villa. The yacht club is the closest restaurant that is walking distance with local performances on Saturday&Tuesday. My recommendation is to rent a scooter or rental car to experience the other local restaurants as to there are a distance away from the lodge.»

«This is an awesome place - lovingly created and cared for by the owners. There is beautiful art all around and the view is amazing. But keep in mind that it's not for everyone. It's set back on a hill in the jungle. Getting to the beach involves riding a bike 15-20 minutes or renting a scooter or car. We got a car. I wouldn't recommend it for seniors, young children or people with mobility issues. There are some steps down to the bathroom and the walkways can be a little tricky for older folks. »

«Tiare met us at the dock when we arrived. We had arranged to rent a car from them for 9000fp/day. She showed us around the town a little bit to point out where to get groceries, where the bank was. Before handing over the keys to the car, we dropped her off at her home a short distance from town. Jackfruit were in season and she had some ripe ones on her property so she gave us one. «We loved being over the water and able to get in and out of the water so easily. We had plenty of space for dive and snorkel gear. It was very peaceful to sit on the deck and watch the boats and fish. One night a manta ray swam by. The host was helpful and when we had a couple of issues he managed to get them resolved very quickly. Great trip. »
