«This was a poor selection. The point of the stay was to enjoy the pool and the water was murky and brown looking. As if the filter needs changing. Smh. The room smelled musty when entered , I had to run the ac all night in order to help with the moldy smell. Then to top it off you pay top dollar for the stay and the breakfast isn’t even complimentary . Will not be returning or recommending . Sorry»

«The facility is older and almost a bit rustic. The room was absolutely immaculate and although a bit “bare bones,” the bathroom was updated. Common areas, such as the lobby, were comfortable and inviting. Great coffee! Accommodating staff. Would consider staying there again.»

«Really comfortable place. Stayed one night. We tried the restaurant on premises for breakfast. Buffet style, plenty of choices but found the food cold. There was no microwave for us to pop it in and warm it. The coffee was hot and good. They was bringing it from the coffee are next door. We spoke to the staff about it, they tried to resolve the issue. »

«Property advertised as historic and fine lodging however we were given a run down small apartment in a front house up large flight of stairs with outside broken porch stairs. Plumbing was broken and kitchenette sink bubbled up and shot up dirty waste water smelling like sewer. We did not see brown water everywhere until second night because we did not use that area until then. We heard something and smelled but didn’t find it until 2nd night. Shower leaked, blinds broken and furniture like ...

«Clean room, great staff»

«The HVAC system kept the room comfortable. The bed was comfortable and clean. However the mirrors and shower door was not clean. The floor was vacuumed but the carpet close to the woodwork needed attention. »

«Vi hadde et veldig fint opphold på Hawthorn. Hotellet ligger sentralt (kort kjøretur) unna ift de aktivitetene vi oppsøkte. Kort biltur til Tanger outlet, kort vei til golfbanen, for en ettermiddagstur, og kort vei til Walmart. Det er også en kort kjøretur å komme seg ut i området der Amishfolket bor. Hawthorn er et veldig greit alternativ å bo på i Lancaster. Vi har bodd der flere ganger på tidligere, reiser og sjekker gjerne inn igjen. »
