«Room was fine. It was an upstairs room. It was a bit confusing when we got there cause there’s a gate that looks private but the host came out and walked us in. I’ve always done a self check in and was advised I would be doing so here so it was a bit off putting, but she was very nice. It was weird when she mentioned the downstairs neighbor being a bit of a grumpy old man. He was nice to us, but was very much outside in everyone’s business. Nice to watch the sunset on the dock. It’s totally rundown, looks like it hasn’t been power washed in 20 years, as soon as you walk up it smells like mold. The listing doesn’t tell you that it’s on a main street. «Kitchen table with 5 chairs were the only place to sit in the house. The a/c unit in the kitchen window did not cool the place. The area/town smelled musty & moldy. The house smelled musty as well. The ceiling fan looked like it was going to fall to the floor. Very dated. Cobwebs on windows. One of the florescent lights in the kitchen did not work so it was dark near cooking surfaces.
