«Apparantly Expedia doesn't tell us that there is a room tax, payable in cash, once you arrive at the hotel. So, that was a bit of a surprise. Also, we arrived early and the girl at the front desk just told us to put our bags to the side, didn't show much interest in helping us, or being friendly. Other than that, the stay was excellent. The rooms are amazing, beds are incredible, bathroom is superb!»

«Great location, so very convenient. However, the reasons I am giving the accommodation a 3/5 are three-fold. First, upon arrival the room was not thoroughly cleaned. There was a coffee stain on the table; crumbs of food in the fridge; and small pieces of trash on the carpet next to the kitchen counter. Second, the first night we had a miserable nights sleep because there was a motion detector light in front of the sleeping area, so every time we moved (or even coughed), multiple bright lights ...

«Stay here if you are in Kyoto! Very friendly staff, that seemed available to help if you needed their assistance outside opening hours of the reception too. I wondered how the living arrangement was before coming, but we came as recommended before 19:30 for check-in, so there were no problems with that. It is indeed a hotel, but they offer apartment size rooms with amenities. The room we booked had everything we needed for a comfortable stay in Kyoto. It was very nice to take a Japanese bath and ...
