«The grounds for the property are very nice. The front desk is only open from 10AM-6PM. I walked barefoot in my room and the bottoms of my feet were black. The hotel gives you the tiniest bar of soap- probably enough to wash your hands and does not service the room every day. The closest store/ restaurant is 10 miles away and the front desk/ store has very limited supplies and limited hours. There is a full kitchen, but one of the frying pans supplied was filthy. «The motel is a classic 2-story with outside entrances. Our room has been renovated and had a tub/shower rather than shower only. It also had mid size refrigerator/freezer which was great as it refrozen our cooler bottles. One negative was the weeds in the pavement cracks, but I saw this on many near-by properties. The room was clean and the staff were friendly. The HVAC was relatively quiet. I took a long walk and felt safe in the area.»

«Definitely a unique property all decked out in “woodsman stuff”. One floor is nice. We had a deluxe room, which could definitely pass as an efficiency apartment. In fact, the chest of drawers was full of clothes and mail! Not just one item left behind, full. There was no flatware except two (2) forks and a can opener. «We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The property is in a convenient location and was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. One thing to note is that it's located right next to the highway, so there is some road noise. It didn't bother us at all, but it's something to be aware of if you're a very light sleeper.
