«We stayed in the Garden Cottage for a week and cannot recommend it for longer stays. While the property manager responded to our texts and generally sent maintenance within 24 hours, the property suffers from poor upkeep and temporary fixes. Our issues started at check-in when our entry code failed, and no one answered the phone, forcing us to communicate solely via text. Upon entry, the unit smelled strongly of marijuana, the bedroom closet door was broken, and a ceiling fan blade was hanging ...

«The location is perfect. Nice to have the deck, beach chairs and access to the beach was wonderful. The house itself could use some updating (bathroom/ kitchen) but for the price we paid I’ll accept. Upstairs is hot and doesn’t cool well, you have to have the ceiling fan and the loft fan both on. «We came to see our grandchildren for the night. Unfortunately we were unable to stay longer. But we will definitely be coming back. John made check-in and out very easy. Cabi. Was very clean and location was beautiful!»

Shower was small with no soap, shampoo, etc. There were SO many bugs both outside and inside, which I’m sure is just a seasonal May thing and not the property owner’s fault. However, there were ...

«What’s great place to stay!! Will stay there next time!!!»

«I loved this place with one important caveat. The bathroom floor is extremely slippery. Socks and dry floor? Bare feet and wet floor? You need to be careful, especially if you're older. I almost did the splits going to use the restroom. The shower is small and you can't keep the curtain in, so the floor will get a bit wet. For most floors this really isn't a big deal, but it's basically like ice. I only point this out because I do not want someone to actually get hurt without at least a bit of a ...

«Very quaint little cottage near Tawas and public beach. Close to good restaurants. We had a peaceful stay.»
