«The property owners were great and made sure our arrival was welcoming with great info and welcome pack. The property is a unique original cottage with hone comforts and incredible view. There are some great walks and lots of activities nearby and a visit to ye older ferrie inn is a must. As with anywhere in this area to get the most you have to prepared to be a bit active and there are a few steps required to get down to the cottage but definitely worthwhile. Beautiful location completely spoilt by the classic/abandoned cars in the front garden making it unsafe for children and dogs. Field next door is similarly blighted. The barn was beautifully decorated with plenty of space for 11 of us to relax (8 adults and 3 young children) Downstairs was 2 bedrooms (one had the bunk room attatched) and upstairs was another 2 rooms and one of those rooms included a little mezzanine with single bed. «Lovely stay at the bungalow. Three friends on a singing weekend nearby. It was very well equipped, clean and peaceful. A drainer rack for the sink would be useful and the mattresses were a little ‘tired’. Nevertheless it was great for us and we would stay there again.»

There is a lovely place to sit outside with amazing views. Hay-on-Wye is literally an 8 minute drive away and lives up to its name of a bookish town. «This was a great site and a wonderful location. It’s big and spacious yet only shared with 6 other spaces. Our kids could run around and we didn’t need to worry about them. The modern and warm showers were lovely and it was nice having flushing toilets. The tents and kitchens were brilliantly equipped.
