«This is my favorite property on SSI. Our room overlooked the pool and the ocean. They have excellent service, several pools overlooking the ocean, and beach access as well as a restaurant and bar inside. It's everything you need for a worry free vacation.»

«Great ocean view room but room above must have been rented to elephants who stayed up all night stomping around. Shower water pressure was awful and sink did not drain. Garbage was strewn all over in the AM but it was a holiday weekend. Also there is a surprise $30 a night resort fee that was charged separately when checking out that was no included in the Expedia charge. We've stayed here before and had a wonderful time but this room was not wonderful and did not get charged a daily resort ...

«What a beautiful hotel location right in the beach village of Jekyll Island! Rooms were beautiful and very clean. There was a slight issue with our room temperature as the air condition did not work, but we were only there for one night and did not complain about it. However, we did mention during check out and they did over compensation for the inconvenience. Great staff! Would definitely return.»

«The rooms are very dark, very small windows. Also the fact that you have to continually have the hvac fans on in case of the fire alarms going off, was a pain. Lastly the mattress was old and needs replacing.»

«The fact that it was as clean as possible, the staff was knowledgeable about the surrounding area and it was within walking distance of the near-by public beach accesses. Parking was a slight issue, but understandable and it would be better if the room did not have carpet. Overall a great stay and would/will recommend to others.»

Old southern charm, but with emphasis on the old— our room was as clean as housekeeping could possibly make it, but the carpet had large stains, shower door can’t stay shut, paint on bathroom ceiling and parts of walls cracked and peeling. «This hotel was mediocre at best. The tv was facing the left side of the room and could not be turned toward the bed so you could actually see it. When watching from the bed you could not read subtitles because of the angle of the tv in relation to the bed. You could sit on the sofa and watch. The air conditioner was dreadful. It never got below 70 and the room was stuffy. I finally asked for a box fan and they gave it to me. We paid a lot for the room and would have expected more of a luxury ...
