«Absolutely beautiful place inside and out. Had everything u could ever need at a place»

«Very friendly and nice people. They brought tomatoes and corn out of their garden for us and checked in on how we were doing and had lots of supplies in the fridge and on the table. Would recommend staying there anytime»

«It is a very peaceful environment. Walking the property offers opportunities for quiet reflection , as does simply sitting on the porch overlooking the river.»

«Very spacious the pictures don't do it justice. The back yard is amazing g for fury friends.»

«It was convenient having a garage for our car and luckily our car is small, because it barely fit. Nonetheless, a great feature. The place was clean, quaint, and adequate for the two of us. It was decorated to feel very homey. I recommend this as an option to stay if you are in the Harrisburg, Shawnee National Forest area.»

«The unit was more than I expected. The cabin was furnished with comfortable seating indoors, a full kitchen, TV, comfortable bed, clean bathroom with a hot shower, and more. I will definitely be booking this place again for another getaway.»

«Very peaceful and relaxing area, loved sitting on porch watching the barges go by.»

«Great location - cabin is nicely equipped with basic necessities. Couldn’t have a fire because of dryness in the area but loved the hot tub for achy muscles and relaxation. Would come again »

«Pros: quiet little cabin, tucked just inside from a street. Clean & cozy. Cons 1. Mattress: It was too soft & saggy in the middle. Another reviewer mentioned this too. I wasn't able to get a restful night's sleep. Either my knees or neck would be sore in the mornings 2. Not enough brightness / lights: The interior feels dark - with an okay ceiling light, where 1-2 if the bulbs would slowly go dim as tine went on. Kitchen light was brigther.»

«Cozy and clean home that had all of the little things we needed! Easy access to all of the cool hiking spots in the area!»

«Unit was exceptionally clean and very well equipped. Great communication and thoughtful welcome treats. We look forward to staying again.»

«Location is great!»

«Our family really loved the house and property. It was an excellent basecamp for surrounding hiking excursions. The property itself with the open floor plan, prairie trail, pond and fire pit really let us melt away hours in the evening as our legs recovered from hiking. The house a great feeling of privacy and safety so the kids could run around outside and quiet prairie walks could recharge the mind. The house itself had modern amenities, and was easy to manage.
