«I was traveling and decided to stay at the Hotel Broadalbin. It is a nicely restored 170+ yr old hotel with restaurant/bar on the main street in a small village. Had a nice chat with the owner. It has the feel of stepping back in time. All the rooms were restored a few years ago and have that 19th century feel, antique furniture, etc. The bed was comfortable. I liked the smart Roku TV. I stayed there again the following week when i came back through. So much nicer than any of the chain ...

«This is a low-end motel. There is incessant traffic noise from the highway. The only nearby eating establishment is Star Cafe, a typical greasy spoon with minimal fare. The only saving graces are the adjacent laundromat and the price. There is also a minimart by the gas station for survival needs. »
