«Very comfortable hotel. The fluorescent lighting in the room is harsh and potentially uncomfortable for some people. The complimentary breakfast is satisfactory. Instant oatmeal is available but cooked oatmeal wood be much more satisfying and healthier.»

«Nice bed, ok plage to sleep.»

«Clean room, very nice bathroom and shower, lovely upper balcony porch, plenty of parking, and beautiful historic hotel. Room very warm with very little air circulation, bed mattress way too soft, needed to wait for the hotel manager to get us our room upon arrival, and does not serve breakfast.»

«The hotel has a nice restaurant, bar area and outside firepit area. Everything seemed clean and neat. The staff was friendly and helpful. My only complaint is that I booked a room with two double beds via Expedia and received a confirmation back that the room had two double beds. When I called the hotel, however, they said there were no rooms with two double beds and instead the room had one double bed and pull-out couch with could serve as another bed if needed. I said that is not what I booked ...

«It was a real treat to stay at the Balsam Inn! The Inn is off the beaten path like I wanted and very very quite. Jenny is a warm welcoming host. She even upgraded my room just because it was available. The room itself was beautiful! It felt like I was a guest in someones Adirondack mountain home. Antique furniture, pines cones, snowshoes, layered bedding...like in an LLBean catalog. The bed was super comfy. I had a large screen TV and mini fridge in the room. Although there is a ...

«Spectacular interior spaces and super friendly owner. The interior is filled with incredible woodwork, especially grand staircase. Our suite was large and comfortable. Books everywhere to read. Great amount of satisfying choices for breakfast. We were pleasantly stuffed afterwards. Close to several restaurants. We were biking the Erie Canal Trail from Syracuse to Amsterdam NY and it was very convenient, close to trail and owner insisted on having our bikes inside. Loved it!!!»

«All questions in review 5 Star. Host made sure all needs were taken care of. Super easy check in and check out. Even provided EV charging cable from the Motor Home area. Very relaxing.»

«Enjoyed our stay at you house on Sacandaga lake. It was roomy with lots of extra amenities. The ac was a plus during our stay as the weather was steamy! »

«It was a nice place. Super comfortable beds and the bunk bed for the kids is a nice addition. »

«Chris was very responsive to my messages and allowed to reschedule my booking to a different weekend. The caboose is gorgeous and so is the location. We did a photo shoot with the kids inside. It was so adorable!»

«2nd time staying here. Will be back!!»

«Beautifully renovated. Excellent decor and ambiance. Perfect romantic getaway for couples!»

«Overall our stay was very enjoyable. The cabin was cute and a nice location. Communication was lacking. We did not get the key code sent to us until we had no service to retrieve the message. After a 6 hour drive we had to drive to find WiFi in order to get access. One of the deck chairs were broken and the grass in the yard was uncut. Overall though the cabin was as described and we had an enjoyable stay.»

«Bonnie and Steve were excellent hosts. The communication with them was great. They provided us with suggestions for places to visit and were incredibly friendly. The house was beautiful! They did a great job renovating it and the whole place was impeccably clean and had everything I could think of. There were lots of hiking opportunities in the area that we took advantage of, too. It was just a great experience all around!»
