«Basic cottage. We appreciated air conditioning and view. Exterior chairs where all broken, had to wash dishes, dirty floors. BBQ had no grill so took neighbors, was rusty and very dirty. Can not swim as mentioned. Only for fishing. There is a beach at a waking distance but not nice to swim in, small and weeds. Good place to fish if this is your intention. Fast response when communicating. Will ask you to sign a discharge right at the beginning which is not a good sign. Can’t get refund. Not as ...

«The lake was nice and the view from the deck. The toilet flushed and there was running water so there was that. However, a sure sign we were headed into trouble was the multiple forms we had to sign that there were no refunds and the weird reasons they would not give a refund. We walked into the place and immediately noticed a line of ants over the wall. The lights in both bedrooms didn't work and had to be replaced and the fridge door handle was broken off. «Awesome property for a group of friends trying to hangout and have a good time. Owner was super helpful and understanding on various matters. Great beach access, where you can swim to various different islands and do cliff jumping. As you can see in the photo, there was also a water trampoline which the owners allowed us to use. On top of this, the owners provide kayaks and boats you can use to go into the water. Spacious cabins, and we were even granted an additional one complimentary. Overall ...

«This place is just a lot less glamorous than the listing would imply. We had 9 adults in our group but this cabin only sleeps 6 max. So we had to rent a second cabin for full price. The manager was helpful tho and answered our questions. »

«Cabin was very clean . The furniture was old but in good condition. Kitchen only had one burner but plenty of pots/pans utensils etc. After busy day I would have appreciated somewhere to sit comfortably, the futon was okay. Beds were good and clean bedding. The road was very busy and a bit weary crossing with children. The dock was fine and we caught fish! Great location to Bon echo park. Stay was good for a couple of nights. Parking tight if you have a truck. »

«Took my family here for a much needed getaway for my postpartum wife. It was perfect. Having the river directly behind the cabin was amazing for the view and swimming (great fishing too), it was closer than I expected and the waterfall nearby was such a nice ambient sound. Buddy the dog was the first dog I’ve seen mine really bond with and take a liking to in years, he’s super friendly on his odd travels around the property.
