«We got to the hotel at 8pm and found out upon arrival that the hotel was overbooked and our stay was canceled. The hotel never communicated this to Expedia, whom I booked through. We were in OH for a rock festival so 90% of hotels were entirely booked and the other 10% were charging 2x or 3x usual rates. «Room was very clean but the rest of the property was TERRIBLE!! Remodeling going on and the hallways, etc. were dirty, carpets needed swept and there was wallpaper hanging and some really bad paint jobs being done. I’ve stayed here off & on for over 12-years and this was the WORST visit ever. First night I had no hot water (called desk & was told maintenance would be in at 7:00am); hallways were very dark (I need to see who’s in the hallway when I’m walking). «Check in was smooth! Check out was easy. What i didn't like was the double payment of the security deposit, even know it was only $20 a day i was charged it on arrival and on check out. Although for my bank the refund of the deposit was quick 24 hours after check out. It was still dumb.»

Upon checking in, a staff member named Jesse interrupted another employee who was assisting me just to inform me, without any reason or prior interaction, that I could not have any family members or visitors come to my hotel room at any time during my stay. He stated that if anyone came with me or visited me, I would be removed from the hotel. He also stated that hotel staff would be monitoring the cameras to enforce this. I ...

«Phil & Norma are excellent hosts. We really enjoyed our stay. The property is beautiful & peaceful. The unit is very clean, comfortable & quiet. The hosts provided snacks, coffee and tea. We appreciated the thoughtful touches such as hooks throughout the unit, mirror in the bedroom & good lighting in the bathroom. The television is small, but would stay here again if in the area.»

«The host was very accommodating and understanding. The apartment was exactly what we needed, 15 min from our daughters wedding venue. The beautiful scenery and the farm was just a bonus. «I stayed here for a little Reading Retreat and it was absolutely idyllic! It was comfy and cozy. The host provided tea (and coffee pods), plus the kitchen had all appliances one might need.
