«Such a fun experience! You can actually fish right off the back deck….which we did with the grandchildren for hours! The only two suggestions I can make are….bring extension cords for the fans, and kitchen items if you prepare big meals. This didn’t have an effect on our stay. My daughter rented a house nearby and we tapped into her amenities.»

«This was a cute older house right across the street from the water. The house had all our needs, from fresh linens , games , pots n pans Everything was there just like u were at home but best of all the view from the upstairs sunroom was awesome Very easy to communicate with the owners as well as check-in and check out . Highly recommend if you’re looking for a visit to Fortesque!!»

«Thank you for letting us stay in this beautiful home, we really enjoyed the house! House had everything we needed and it was clean! Loved the extra bonus of having beach accessories ready for us to use! do think some beach chairs need cleaning or replacement, not big of a deal for us as we welcomed having them, it was a bonus! The walk to the beach was really nice and glad we can go anytime without it being crowded. Overall enjoyed the home and we do look forward to coming back next year!»

«Joe and Colleen were fantastic hosts. Very responsive in communicating with us. The property was very clean and the beds are very comfortable. Property is very user friendly. First time to Cape May area and location is very short commute to all the attractions of Cape May area. Would definitely stay here again and would recommend to anybody playing a stay in the Cape May area. My family was there for Coast Guard graduation. Only 10-15 minute drive to USCG Training Center Cape May.»

«This is an elegant home. It is very clean and comfortable. We had 6 people —3 couples and stayed 3 nights in this place. We really enjoyed it. I would recommend to anybody. There is only one confusion I had, that is the descriptions says there are 5 bathrooms, but it actually has three. Two with showers on the second floor and one on the first floor. Therefore, two bedrooms have to share one bathroom. I wish it was explained more clearly.»

«The place was very clean, cute and well taken care of. The backyard was large and our dog was happy roaming around in it. Loved the cute dog bowls they had there. My only negative was there was no blind on the backdoor, so I did feel a little exposed. Also, I am not sure, but I think the app they use (Vrbo) made communicating with them challenging at times. However, overall the place was great and nicely located near the beach but not too close. We would defiantly go again.»
