«A lovely modern home tucked away in the woods. Beautiful place to wake up each morning and watch the sunset at dusk. Most everything you’ll need for a stay is here, nothing fancy or extra, but adequate amenities. The host was very kind and courteous at all times, and responded promptly. It was missing final touches to make it a standout, which is why I didn’t give it 5- stars . But overall a lovely place to visit and I recommend it»

The cabin is well designed but I felt that esthetics are higher valued than functionality. We stayed for a week as a family of 4 and noticed there are not enough or big enough pots and pans to make basic meals, no hangers or wall hooks of any sort to provide space for clothing and no storage for any luggage pieces. «We loved our stay at deer lick falls! It was a nice home away from home. It was nice to have the amenities such as a stove, oven, grill and a washing machine and dryer. We traveled with two children and anyone that knows these are a must! I was however disappointed that the “kids play area” was indeed not in the area we stayed. «Property touted full spice rack (no garlic) pans (only a few and in poor shape) charcoal supply for grill (wet due to being left outside) fire pit (no wood onsite). They supply the cheapest kitchen sponge and soap (had to watch dishes 3 times) so bring your own. Other than these minor issues, it was a cool place in a remote location, with full wrap around porch with comfortable patio furnishings FYI it's a tiny home.
