«This is an older, historical property and that means there are limits to how many modern amenities and features can be crammed in to it. Within that context, this is a comfortable hotel in the middle of a cute (and also historically relevant) town and we enjoyed our stay.»

«Clean room, comfortable bed. Plenty of parking. Conveniently located near the Vancouver mall with lots of dining options. We appreciated the in-room toaster and microwave. Overall, a great stay.»

«All staff were friendly and helpful. Room was larger than expected, quality furnishings and bathroom and clean. Security robot patrolling the premises seemed to keep the parking lot safe :-D.»

«This hotel is very unsafe for a single women to stay. I was very uncomfortable immediately upon arrival - I have stayed at less than stellar hotels before but have never experienced such an unsafe environment. The person at the front desk tried to say that the hotel was safe and in the same breath said there was a recent car break in. The lobby smelled bad, people were walking around half naked, people were camped out in their cars acting extremely suspicious. I was made to feel very awkward and ...

«It was like being in a crackhouse there was black mold. The bathroom was super tiny. The toilet was meant for a child, so small . the price was about $40 too expensive. very disappointed. Would never go back. The positive was they had nice pillows.»

«I come here every month for several days and the staff feel like family. They are so friendly and helpful. I like the little store for snacks or more. The rooms are well stocked, and have an easy chair along with a comfortable bed, kitchen and desk area.»

«The hospitality of this hotel is second to none. I have stayed in hotels all over the world and I have never in 40 years been so welcomed and so appreciated and so helped even with the minor things like asking for a pen and they gave me a handful. If I ever traveled to Vancouver again, which I’m sure I will I will never stay anywhere else. I used to like the Heisman Lodge, but this place is nicer rooms and better hospitality.»
