We visited for a week and it is in a really nice area with everything just a few miles away. It’s in Mount Pleasant not Charleston but the historic district is right across the river and you can get there by water taxi or the resort has a van that runs all day long into the night for free and it’s only a ten minute ride or just drive yourself there’s plenty of parking at ...

«If you get a room at Sweetgrass Inn with a water view, be prepared to hear children screaming in the pool below all day long. They are not just screams of delight - there are lots of screams of distress. The service and food at the Oystercatcher in the hotel were just mediocre- too bad they don’t raise the quality there. The only thing that dragged our experience down was the sleeping-coach, which was ready to be changed. It was really horrible to sleep on.
