«While the location is perfect the lodge itself needs work. It needs updating and a refreshed clean look. The lounge chairs in the lobby are extremely worn and the warm inviting picture on line is no match to the dingy look. The room felt dark and the bed mattress saggy. «This home is incredible! We booked a spontaneous 1 night stay, which many places won’t do. We couldn’t have been more pleased. We typically go to Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge 2-3 times a year and rent cabins. And over the past 40 years, we’ve stayed in a lot of them. This property ranks among the best we’ve ever stayed in.
