«Booked for a night in October. Felt very cold when entering the room at around 9pm, as all the windows were kept open. It took at least 1 hour for the heater to make it warm. Bathroom was too cold even after closing the window, may be due to some air leakages. Communication with staff is very good. Bathroom is clean. Except the cold part, I like everything about this 2 bedroom flat room flat»

«The apartment was a great overnight stay in a resort with 2 bedrooms for the 3 of us. It was an upstairs apartment so we had some nice views to watch the sunset from the balcony. A handy place to stay for skiing at Mt Hutt. The living area was suitable for us with 2 couches and a dining area. The kitchen was well equipped with tea, coffee, sugar as well as some handy basics like salt, pepper and oil and a few other handy items. We all wished we could've had another nights stay. «The unit was adequate for our overnight stay. Had everything we required close to town center & ski fields albeit in a small space.Access was a little tricky at night, getting bags up the stairs and through 2 key pad controlled doors.Communication with owner was easy & Selwyn was extremely helpful.»

«The chalet was modern, spacious and tidy. Was a bit cold when we arrived but didn't take too long to warm up. Lovely rural outlook and we got a beautiful sunrise. Missing was laundry facilities although there is a drying room provided should you have wet items.»

«The floor creeks and noise was mental. Couldnt sleep till people above us stopped walking around. Parts of the floor sounded like it was about to cave in.
The cleaners miss alot and dont move furniture to clean or go above where they cant reach obviously as alot of bugs stuck on walls up in corners, heaps of dust and bugs on the oven rangehood and top of fridge. Rubbish left under furniture.
Its a lovely place so should be kept to its best standards that it holds.

«I made a mistake with the booking date, and the host was great at helping me change it. Good location if visiting family in Temuka. Rooms are a bit cold (not unusual for NZ buildings - poor insulation is the norm for older buildings in NZ). The motel provides heaters in each room, which helped. Across the street from Night & Day dairy, good for snacks and supplies. A good option in the small town of Temuka if you dont want to trek from Timaru or Geraldine.»
