Koyasan Saizenin

"Flott sted for temple stay. Rolig beliggenhet, vakre omgivelser."

"A truly memorable one-night stay in a traditional Buddhist temple. We stayed in a beautiful family room overlooking the garden, which added to the peaceful and authentic atmosphere of the experience. Dinner and breakfast consisted of shojin ryori, traditional Buddhist vegetarian cuisine, and were served in our room. This was a wonderful experience and one of the highlights of our stay. We took part in meditation, the morning ceremony, and the fire ritual, which gave us a unique insight into life at the temple. We also enjoyed the shared public bath on site. The staff were very friendly, welcoming, and spoke excellent English, which made everything easy and comfortable. Staying at Eko-in was a truly special experience and one of the highlights of our trip to Japan. We would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Koyasan."
