«This visit was all about returning to a well loved area. The cottage was the perfect spot, with good sized comfortable rooms which let in the beautiful outdoors and lots of light. A well stocked kitchen made food preparation easy. Most importantly, the Clyde was there in all its glory.»

«Had an amazing stay here. Highly recommend. You won’t be disappointed! Super clean, well equipped and very spacious. Host was very attentive and responsive to queries. The only thing I’d say (which isn’t even a negative) but didn’t impact negatively on our stay would be having it more secure to allow dogs to go out slide door within living room area to the back without worrying they’d wander off. Will definitely return. We had an amazing Christmas here and made wonderful memories.»

«Really well equipped house with beautiful surroundings. After clear instructions of how to arrive and check in we felt warmly welcomed with fresh flowers and some chocolates from Oban. Plenty of lovely walks nearby, but the house was also a great place to use as a base to explore wider, from a trip to Oban (picking up more chocolates!) to a walk up Ben Cruachan. We’d love to stay again and continue to explore. Huge thanks to Fiona and Andy for being such great hosts!!»

«De cottage is ruim, sfeervol ingericht en van alles voorzien. Er is geen WiFi of bereik dus alle gelegenheid om tot rust te komen in een prachtige omgeving. Mooie wandelingen gemaakt en veel gelezen. Er liggen overigens ook veel dvd’s in het huisje. Bij de gastheer/gastvrouw kun je terecht voor alle vragen en tips. Wij hebben een heerlijke week gehad.»

«We absolutely loved this cottage, peaceful location with stunning views of a 13th Century castle with hens, deer and bird life in your 'front garden'. Very clean and wonderful walks to the loch through woodland. Aldo great location to reach other parts of this wonderful isle of Mull. Richard and Kirsty are also are brilliant hosts. We're planning a return next year.»

«We really enjoyed our stay here. The house was very roomy and comfortable. The beds were extrememly comfortable and we loved hanging out in the living room area watching the storms outside. The view is gorgeous. It was really nice having a washer and dryer and also being able to turn the heater on as needed. The only issue we had was with the kitchen stove. It worked great the first couple days but ran out of propane. After we changed it, it had issues until we left. Hopefully the host will get ...

«Our family of 12 liked the layout of this home and the decor was lovely. The beds are comfortable. We enjoyed the use of the hot tub as well. The home has some damage to the doors and walls, wear and tear and perhaps some of it due to remodeling upgrades. The home is lovely and met our needs for an enjoyable stay.»

«The lodge was perfect for an outdoor family like us with dogs. Location is quite remote but that's what we like. We'd advise going stocked up with food and drink before going. there is a pub within walking distance with pub food and a great pool table. Meals were after 6pm. The lodge was very comfortable with everything you need. Having the sauna was fantastic especially after a long day out. There is a lot do do around the area but do expect to drive here and there. «This was a nice cottage but the beds were very uncomfortable. The mattress was thin and felt like you were sleeping on the metal. I was not comfortable here and did not stay the entire time that I booked for.»

«This is an excellent house in a beautiful area. We had 15 guests ranging from 4 to 79 - the accommodation was perfect for all of our needs…it was warm, clean and comfortable. The hot tub was a particular highlight. Gillian was approachable and helpful if needed. We would not hesitate to recommend this property and the area.»
