«A1. Very good.»

«Hotell midt i Ambleside. Spa-avdelingen er meget bra. Ellers god atmosfære, meget god service og flott frokost med både buffet og varme retter. Rommet vi fikk var komfortabelt, men slitent, og det sto ikke i stil med resten av hotellet. »

«The toilet was very small which was difficult for us but otherwise everything was good. Breakfast was delicious and the room was perfectly clean.»

«Manglet overmadrass på seng, manglet hårføner, manglet kleshengere på rommet. Litt grelt lys, savnet leselampe. Dårlig lukt i respsjonen, kanskje kloakk? Frokosten var lttt sparsom. Savnet syltetøy og yoghurt Ellers ok.»

«Vi hadde det kjempefint. Nydelig hotel bare et steinkast fra innsjøen. Veldig stille og godt plassert rom. Utmerket service og veldig bra frokost. Kunne ikke ha blitt bedre for oss.»

«Traffic right outside window made it impossible to sleep, and old hotel with window that won't close doesn't make it better. Stay at home or bring a tent.»

«As a first time visitor to the Borrowdale Gates Hotel I have to say what a wonderful experience. The location was perfect with access to many hiking trails. The staff were pleasant and very attentive to our needs, the facilities including the restaurant were excellent, serving very high quality food. After spending several days at the Hotel I am convinced we will be returning. From two happy customers.»

«We were a family of six travelling and we had invited our daughters and their husbands for a long weekend in The Lakes. We made a mistake ordering standard rooms and it was disappointing that we were given a tiny room as the paying part. I guess that’s our fault. Location is perfect with free parking, the staff are amazingly friendly and the breakfast first class. The place needs a good clean and shine up. The garden and exterior looked as though they had been forgotten for the current season. ...
