«The region between Milazzo and Messina is not really nice. But Cala Marina is an oasis in there. Great garden (with Yakuzzi!), only a few footsteps to the sea. We spend days and evenings on the terraces (independ of the weather). House is well equipped. Really friendly owners.»

«Alessio met us in Savoca and took us on a short journey to Romissa where Villa Sarino is situated. The views are tremendous: one looking down towards the sea and the other across to Savoca with its church and museum on the hill side. Villa Sarino is a family home which was renovated by Alessio and his father. The kitchen, dining and sitting area is open plan with a bathroom and bedroom to one side. «This is a very nice home. Antonio was available and very prompt to return text messages. He and his family went out of their way to help us in any way they could. We were very disappointed to be unable to stay but as the large kitchen window could not be locked other arrangements had to be made. I’m sure this will be fixed and would happily stay there in the future.»

«We stayed 4 amazing nights in Salvo’s apartment in Savoca. An absolutely stunning location in an authentic Sicilian hilltop village, we could not have asked for a better host. Salvo recommended everything from the best places to eat to secret swimming spots. If you get a chance, ask to see some of his sculptures. «Antonio was an amazing host and the house was perfect for our needs. It was spacious and the views were incredible!! Antonio’s mother was so accommodating and greeted us even though it was nearly 3am by the time we arrived, on a night before work! She had provided us with snacks and homemade bread. She ended up making us a tarimasu, a homemade lasagna and fried zucchini all of which were amazing!!! The pool was a perfect escape from the heat and overall just an amazing experience.
