Flott opphold
Flott beliggenhet i Vong Deuang stranda. Renslige rom og billig restaurant. Hadde et kjempeopphold på 8 dager. Ville anbefale å leie en skuter for å oppdage mer av øya.

This is a very cozy place, all of the rooms are essentially a standalone bungalow. Staff is nice, restaurant and beach bars were nice. Had a few friendly domesticated dogs and puppies around. At night the jungle noises came to life. Only complaint was the plumbing would make noise when other bungalows flushed or showered. Would stay again though absolutely.

Friendly staff. The floating pier is an adventure to cross if you have to manage your own luggage. It is great when the staff assists!

The resort is located on what I would consider the far side of the island making it a very secluded and quiet location. The beach is right behind the resort and it is a perfect location.

My worst stay in samet
Samet is a Nice weekend spot but this hotel doesnt live up to anything we was looking forward to. Beds are like sleeping on the floor. No service for anything I asked for. I wanted help to book motorbike and transport back to Bangkok. Food was not good. Breakfast included was nothing you could eat. We go outside for breakfast every day. Beach and pool was nice.

Sehr schöne Anlage.
Schöne Anlage. Der Strand, das Meer einfach wunderschön. Frühstück Terrasse direkt am Meer. Auch am Pool war es sehr schön. Pool und Bungalow wurde täglich gereinigt. Gehe gerne wieder hin.

Viss service kunde vara lite bättre. Smutsiga solstolar utan dynor. Tyvärr ingen båt som det brukar vara till resorten. Mysig liten stuga. Ligger lite långt ifrån centrum. Mycket dyrare öl, taxi än fastlandet.

Ett helt underbart hotell med bra rum. Maten var fantastiskt bra och billigt. Stranden absolut inget att klaga om. Rekommenderar verkligen det här hotellet.

The staff was wonderful and extremely helpful. The food and breakfast was very good. We would come back to this resort. We stayed in a cottage.

This place was excellent. The staff was super friendly and made us feel like we were at a 5 star hotel the entire time we were there. I rented out 2 cottages and it was peaceful there. There was stand up paddle board and kayaks for us to use. I highly recommend this simple place if you want good bang for your buck, but if you want more modern and updated place then you may miss out on the excellent customer service here.

Steps from the sand
Excellent location on the beach amid a copse of tamarind trees. Quiet except for the intermittent cacophony of the cicadas (actually that was pretty cool). Friendly, helpful staff (they called our ferry service to order, in Thai, our boat return to the mainland). Good, hearty breakfast (either Thai seafood rice soup or traditional American). Overall, a pleasant stay. We stayed in one of the Thai houses, a bungalow whose interior was a bit on the dark side (brown wood walls and ceiling) but ideally situated steps from the sand.

We stayed for 10 days and found it relaxing. Staff were pleasant and helpful when you could find them. The lady cooking the omelettes and the older gentleman were fabulous, friendly and efficient. Both restaurant staff. The wifi unfortunately was inadequate and in and out constantly. We ate in the outdoor restaurant a few times and unfortunately found the food less than satisfactory. And perhaps you could offer food and drink service at your pool. Also the building works going on outside our room and others was noisy and disruptive. I know it sounds like we didn’t enjoy when in fact we did. Just what we noticed that’s all.

Excellent resort with a nice beach ambience
Great hotel with a great location. Stayed in the Thai House which was amazing! Rooms were well taken care of and were beautiful for a beach resort. Everything was available in the resort. Staff was constantly around providing help. Quieter resort with a busy resort and fire dancers about a quarter mile down the beach. Really nice sandy beach. Enjoyed the beach life. Would definitely stay here again.

Både bra och dåligt,men hade tyvärr inte valt igen
Tyvärr var detta under förväntan.. Dörren till vår "par"stuga saknade en gummilist nedtill vilket orsakade att där nu var ett 3-5cm öppet hål. Då hotellet befinner sig i en nationalpark som personalen kallade det, var det fullt normalt att vi hade små kryp och till och med en ödla inne på rummet! Vi fick byta rum när vi sa till efter att vi kom hem på kvällen och en ödla sprang runt på väggen vid vår säng...:/ men bytet hjälpte inte då det fanns en ödla och små kryp även på vårt nya rum (bredvid det gamla) dagen efter, som inte saknade någon dörrlist. Vi hade tyvärr inte valt att bo på detta hotell igen av just dessa orsaker. Som tur bokade vi endast två nätter. För övrigt var frukosten ganska bra, och mysigt att äta både frukost och middag på kvällen på stranden. Hotellet hade bra mat och en ganska bra strand med sol fram till ca 16-17 tiden. Utanför resorten fanns inte mycket, så jag rekommenderar att hyra en scooter för att smidigt ta sig runt på ön och till den mer centrala delen på ön. Man kan gå men det är ganska långt och inte mycket belysning på kvällen. Man kan hyra scooter på hotellet, vilket kostade 500 baht, medan det i den centrala delen av ön fanns scootrar att hyra för 100-200 baht.

We go here every year. We love it! The staff is attentive, friendly and professional. They will make sure everything is right! Great staff..beach is lovely, our house is quiet and private..food is delicious (and restaurant staff is also great!) There are some nice little pubs a short walk from the grounds.. Very relaxing.
