«If you like being out of the way Afternoon Cottages is a great jumping off point for adventuring. It is well equipped and very clean. It has a great price point and very basic. It worked great for us because it was simply a place to cook dinner and sleep. You have access to all the necessities about 25 minutes away in Hella. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.»

«Hotels.com videresendte ikke innsjekk info og koder som avtalt.. Men utleier var tilgjengelig på telefon. Hytta var bra, men ingen vindu kunne åpnes. Sikkert pga sterke vinder. Litt ustabil varme i dusjen, som gikk fra veldig varmt til veldig kaldt. Helt OK hytte, man reiser ikke til Island for å bo sitte inne i en hytte. Helt OK for enkel overnatting. Bruker den gjerne igjen. Fantastisk plassering, nær fosser, resturant og bakeri. relativt nær Vik.»

«Lovely cabin :well appointed: comfortable bed. But long drive from town 28km and half of it is (currently) a gravel road. It’s a beautiful place. We walked across field to waterfall. Views of the volcano. Nice respite but know you have a drive from the highway/town»

«This was a very cute place. The windows were big and the area had a beautiful view of mountains. It is not too far from Hella. The bed was comfy. It was nice to have a TV as well. I would recommend and would stay again.»

«Our family had a wonderful time at this cottage. The setting is beautiful, peaceful, and pleasant, offering stunning views—we could enjoy lovely sunrises and sunsets, and even watch horses strolling leisurely right outside the window. We highly recommend this place. It is also very conveniently located for trips to the Highlands, Vík, and other areas. All in all, everything here was absolutely amazing!»

«Really cool place set in a tranquil environment. Cozy and sufficient. Highly recommend!»

«Great clean looking property out in the wilderness.. plan to get your own stuff to eat for the stay»
