«Close to all convenient major thoroughfares to Escondido and easy to get to downtown San Diego. This is a family owned establishment and you really feel that - warm, friendly, helpful, safe. This is also wirhin walking distance to the San Diego chapter of the Elks.»

«The carpet and furniture were rather worn. Hair dryer didn’t work. Breakfast was a disappointment mainly because one day no orange juice, one day no coffee, most food was gone on the first hour.»

«This is an older building that appears to have been minimally rejuvenated. The room was clean enough; the towels and washcloths were clean. When you get into the room, you see the thick layers of paint, the cracks in the floor, the things that should have been fixed but were not. The bed did not have a box spring, but it did have some kind of spring mechanism that squeaked when you moved or rolled over.»

«We have a big family and the suite comfortably accommodated 6 of us. The breakfast was great and the kids also had fun at the pool. We would stay here again for sure.»

«The room smelled very strong like cigarettes and it was a non smoking room. When I turned on the AC a lot of what seemed like pet hair came out of it and filled the room. We left the door open and tried to get the hair out but the smoke smell never left. One of the new sheets had a cigarette burn in it and the front desk employee was very dry and showed no emotion to anything during our initial conversation at check in and when I went to go tell him what wangoingkn with the room.»

«The rooms were cleaned (almost) daily, but not if you stayed in when they went on their rounds. Which is ok for a day. Staff is polite and serviceminded and will try to accommodate you as best they can. If you like daylight or open windows I recomend rooms in the upper levels as the 1.st floor is street-level (parkinglot). The facilities are decent. The room included a small kitchen with a large refrigerator, which was convenient, but unlike many other hotels, no complimentary bottled water was provided. «The shower curtain was torn and disgusting. The shower faucet was difficult. The electric outlet doesn’t work. The blanket was old and had many holes. There were no chairs or lamps. The heater was very loud.»

«Hotel was fine but smelled unclean and had many deodorizers plugged in to camouflage the smell. The bed was worn and torn and pillows were very flat and used. The location was only convenient for Carlsbad flowers. Otherwise it was at least 30-45 min from beaches and other sites. Breakfast was fine if you wanted yogurt or fruit. Stay away from omelettes especially the ham. Pool and hot tub were unclean and very small. One plus was the shower head which had fantastic water pressure!»
