«Cheap and cheerful no frills budget hotel with very friendly and kind staff. Nice and spacious room, pretty comfortable bed. Shower head stuck to the wall, which is impractical, otherwise a decent bathroom. Good parking, even if it's paid, and decent food options next door. »

«This hotel is fronted by an attractive historic building that creates an impressive first impression both externally and in reception. Staff were pleasant throughout my stay.
Unfortunately, the rest of the hotel failed to live up to that impression. Much of the newer accommodation feels dated, signage is confusing and poor, lift access difficult to find and the temperature was somehow both too hot and too cold on an autumn day.
Hotel parking is available, but access is through an exceptionally ...

«Check in was great, polite and efficient.
The room was OK.
Breakfast Saturday was ok but below the normal standard of a Holiday Inn Express.
Sunday the breakfast and service was dreadful.
Saturday morning we had no teaspoons but Sunday, there were no plates, no knives or forks.
The sausages were anemic, completely undercooked, there were no hash browns, no beans, no scrambled egg.
The tables weren't being cleared, when the plates did eventually turn up after a long wait we then find that ...

«This place is incredibly interesting for anyone into cars and motorbikes. Loads of quirky pieces of automotive art.
The people that work there are pretty cool too. The person that handled the check in was very enthusiastic about the Brand, and offered to help me with my bags to the room - that’s very rare.
It’s quite lively in terms of music from just after 8am to 10pm.
But yeah, pretty unique place.»
