«We had a wonderful stay in the ground-floor studio at Ballas Apartments. The courtyard is amazing, and the views looking across Agia Effimia harbour are absolutely incredible. ​Stavros was an exceptional, genuinely helpful host who went above and beyond at all times to ensure we had the best holiday. Location-wise, it’s ideal—we easily drove to Assos and Fiskardo in around 40 minutes. The drive from the airport is straightforward, but a hire car is essential for exploring. «I have stayed at Alexatos several times and will do so again if I come to Agia. The apartments are comfortable clean and quiet, very close to the centre but set back, so almost no traffic and very quiet at night. Mirka, Demetrios and Steven are wonderful hosts and make you feel very welcome - they even helped me with some trouble with my rental car. »

«The hotel is located in a lovely little village with a harbour and lots of very good traditional restaurants. The staff are very welcoming and helpful. The rooms are large and comfortable and all have large balconies with beautiful views across to Sami and the island of Ithaca. «The hotel is in a great location! The room was nice and we had reserved a room with a Seaview. I definitely think its worth the extra money to upgrade. The lobby and breakfast area was lovely. Most importantly the staff was kind and helpful. I'm sure they get lots of questions and requests all day and every day, however that did not deter them from being very kind and patient with my questions. There is also parking at this hotel which is wonderful for those that have a vehicle.»

«Lara hotell har god atmosfære og et hyggelig personale. Det ligger ganske nær stranden (ca 3 min gange ned en bakke), men er likevel litt tilbaketrukket og rolig. Rett over veien ligger restauranten "Trifilli" som serverer utmerket mat. Det var rent og pent over alt, også i svømmebassenget. Jeg satte mest pris på personalet som både var behjelpelig om det var noe, og som en gjerne kunne slå av en prat med ved frokostbordet eller i baren. Det er et familiedrevet hotell og vi kunne gjerne se 3 ...
