Vacation Home “Blaumeise 06” – A Rügen Vacation with Your Dog, a West-Facing Terrace, and a Private Sauna

Travel together, sleep comfortably, and bring your dog along: The “Blaumeise 06” half-house welcomes up to four people and, upon prior notice, their four-legged companions as well. The house is located in the vacation village of Klein Stresow on Rügen’s quiet south coast, near the Greifswald Bodden and just about 600 meters from a natural beach.

With two bedrooms, each featuring a spacious box-spring double bed, the accommodations are particularly well-suited for two couples or adults traveling together. Families with children will also find the 61 m² of space comfortably laid out. Two bathrooms, a private sauna, an open living area, and a private garden round out the amenities.

Modern vacation home in Nordic style

This half of the vacation home was newly built in 2021. Inside, guests will find modern and carefully selected furnishings. The furniture, artwork, and lighting reflect an elegant Nordic style and create a bright, welcoming living atmosphere.

Floor-to-ceiling windows bring natural light into the house and connect the living area to the west-facing terrace. The view of the garden and the natural surroundings enhance the peaceful character of the accommodation.

Cozy gathering spot with a fireplace

The open-concept living and dining area is the central gathering spot of the vacation home. Here, you can enjoy meals together, plan your next day on the island, or spend a quiet evening. A sofa invites you to relax, while the fireplace creates a cozy atmosphere, especially during the cooler months.

A flat-screen TV is available in the living room. Wi-Fi can be used free of charge throughout your stay. The dining table seats all four guests.

Open-concept kitchen with dishwasher

The modern kitchen opens directly onto the living and dining area. It is equipped with high-quality appliances and a full set of tableware. A dishwasher is available for cleaning up after meals.

Thanks to the open layout, cooking and socializing go hand in hand. Whether it’s a quick breakfast before heading to the beach or a shared dinner: the kitchen offers everything you need for self-catering.

West-facing terrace and private garden

Floor-to-ceiling windows give guests direct access to the west-facing terrace. There, you can't only have breakfast but also spend time outdoors in the afternoon and evening. Garden furniture is provided.

The garden, which belongs to half of the vacation home, offers additional space for relaxing and playing. Dogs are allowed to stay with prior notice. However, the property listing does not specify whether the garden is fenced.

Two bedrooms with identical double beds

Both bedrooms are each equipped with a box-springdouble bed measuring 1.80 × 2.10 meters. The beds thus offer not only a generous width but also a comfortable extra length.

Since both rooms have the same bed size, there is no smaller second bedroom or one furnished only with single beds when traveling with four adults. Each bedroom also features a closet and its own flat-screen TV.

Two bathrooms and a private Finnish sauna

Two bathrooms are available for guests. Both are equipped with a shower and a toilet. The two separate bathrooms make getting ready in the morning easier and offer plenty of space even after a day at the beach.

The bathroom on the first floor also features a Finnish sauna. It is part of the vacation home and is available for guests’ private use. After a bike ride, a walk along the Bodden, or an excursion across the island, you can relax and wind down the day here.

Upon arrival, the beds are already made. Towels are also provided for guests.

Shared coin-operated machines in the main house

The vacation home itself does not have its own washing machine or dryer. A washing machine and a dryer are available for shared use in the main house. Both are coin-operated.

Natural beach accessible by handcart

A natural beach is located about 600 meters from the vacation village. It is within walking distance, and a handcart can be used to transport beach gear.

The Greifswald Bodden is also nearby. The surrounding area offers opportunities for walks and bike rides. The property page also lists kayaking and SUP tours as possible activities.

After a day by the water, the path leads back to the west-facing terrace, the garden, the fireplace, or your own sauna.

Nature-friendly access road and reserved parking space

The access road to the vacation village runs along a natural, unpaved road. Vehicles must travel at walking speed only.

A reserved parking space is available for guests’ vehicles. This space can be used free of charge during your stay.

Three shared electric vehicle charging stations

A total of three charging stations for electric vehicles are available in the vacation village. These are not assigned to a specific vacation home but are shared among guests. Depending on occupancy, it may therefore be necessary to coordinate with other guests when using them.

There is a charge for charging. The fee is based on the length of stay. Since no charging cable is provided, guests must bring their own compatible cable.

Travel by train with a shuttle from Putbus

It is also possible to arrive without your own vehicle. For a small fee, a shuttle can be arranged from the Putbus train station to the vacation village. This makes it easy to cover the last few kilometers between the train station and your accommodations.

Café and Farm Store in the vacation village

At Café Klein Stresow with its farm store, guests can enjoy hot and cold beverages, fresh rolls, light meals and snacks, homemade cakes, ice cream, and specialty coffees. Regional products are also available.

Fireworks-Free New Year’s Eve

New Year’s Eve is celebrated without fireworks on the resort grounds. Guests can thus ring in the New Year in a vacation village that explicitly promotes a fireworks-free New Year’s Eve.
