Vacation Home “Sehnsuchtsort 04” – private sauna amenities and two bedrooms with double beds

A place for shared vacation days, but also for moments of personal retreat: The “Sehnsuchtsort 04” half of the vacation home offers a comfortable temporary home for up to four guests. With two bedrooms, each featuring a double bed, and two bathrooms, the house is particularly well-suited for two couples, friends traveling together, or a family.

The vacation home is located in the vacation village of Klein Stresow on the southern coast of Rügen. It’s situated in a quiet, natural setting near the Greifswald Bodden. A natural beach is about 600 meters away and can be reached on foot.

With 61 m² of living space, this half of the vacation home—newly built in 2021—combines modern architecture with Nordic-inspired furnishings. Bright rooms, carefully selected furniture, coordinating lamps and artwork, and floor-to-ceiling windows define the living experience. The view of the garden and the proximity to the surrounding nature enhance your stay.

Spending time together in the living and dining area

All guests gather in the open-concept living and dining room. The sofa offers a comfortable spot to relax, read, or watch TV. A fireplace complements the room and creates a cozy atmosphere, especially on cooler days. A flat-screen TV is available, and Wi-Fi can be used free of charge during your stay.

The dining table has four chairs. Here, you can plan your day’s outing in the morning, enjoy a meal together, or wind down in the evening with a game. Thanks to the open layout, the kitchen remains directly connected to the living and dining area.

Modern kitchen for self-catering

The kitchen is equipped with high-quality appliances and a full set of dishes. A dishwasher is also included and takes care of the dishes after meals. This makes the vacation home ideal for guests who prefer to cook for themselves while on vacation.

West-facing terrace and private garden

Floor-to-ceiling windows open from the living area onto the west-facing terrace. Here you can enjoy breakfast in the fresh air or spend relaxing hours outdoors later in the day. The west-facing orientation is particularly ideal for an afternoon break or a peaceful end to the day.

This half of the vacation home features a private garden with a panoramic view. Outdoor furniture is provided for your enjoyment. Children are welcome in the accommodation and will find plenty of space to play in the garden.

Two identical bedrooms

A special feature of “Sehnsuchtsorts 04” are the two bedrooms, each featuring a double box-spring bed. Both beds have a sleeping surface measuring 1.80 × 2.00 meters. This provides four guests with full-size sleeping accommodations without the need for a sleeper sofa or an extra bed.

Each bedroom also features its own closet and a flat-screen TV. The similar amenities in both rooms are particularly convenient when two couples or several adults are traveling together.

Two bathrooms and a private sauna

The two bathrooms also contribute to the home’s relaxed layout. Both are equipped with a shower and toilet. This allows guests to use either bathroom in the morning or after a day at the beach.

The ground-floor bathroom also features a Finnish sauna. It is available exclusively to guests of the vacation home and allows for private sauna sessions regardless of opening hours or shared wellness areas.

Upon arrival, the beds are already made. Towels are also provided for guests.

Laundry facilities in the main house

There is no washing machine or dryer in the vacation home. Both machines are available in the main house as coin-operated machines for shared use. This means you can wash and dry your laundry even during a longer stay.

Natural Beach and Activities on the Greifswald Bodden

The Greifswald Bodden is located in the immediate vicinity of the vacation village. The waterside setting is ideal for walks and bike rides, as well as for kayaking or stand-up paddleboarding (SUP) excursions.

The natural beach is located about 600 meters from the accommodation. It’s within walking distance, and a handcart can be used to transport beach gear. Upon your return, the private garden, the west-facing terrace, the fireplace, and the sauna are all available for a relaxing end to the day.

Directions and Parking

Access to the vacation village is via a natural, unpaved road. You must drive at walking speed only. A reserved parking space is available free of charge for guests’ vehicles.

Shared Charging Stations for Electric Cars

There are a total of three charging stations for electric vehicles in the vacation village. These are shared by vacation guests and are not exclusively available to a single house. There is a fee for use; the fee is based on the length of the vacation stay. A car charging cable is not provided and must be brought along by the guest.

Traveling by Train

If you’d like to travel without your own car, you can use the Putbus train station. From there, a shuttle to the vacation village can be arranged for a small fee. This makes it easy to cover the last few kilometers between the train station and your accommodations.

Café and farm shop in the vacation village

For bread rolls, drinks, or a light snack, Café Klein Stresow with its farm shop is located right in the vacation village. The menu includes hot and cold drinks, fresh rolls for breakfast, light meals and snacks, homemade cake, ice cream, specialty coffees, and regional products.

A Peaceful New Year’s Eve

The vacation village celebrates a fireworks-free New Year’s Eve. This means that “Sehnsuchtsort 04” also offers suitable accommodations for guests who would like to spend New Year’s Eve without fireworks within the resort.
