The Bungle Bungles in the Purnululu National Park is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The geology of the Bugle Bungles consits of sandstone domes. The layers of the sandstone domes have red and grey colours. It's a stunning landscape and you can easily spend a few days hiking and exploring this place.
One of the features of the Bungle Bugles in the Purnululu National Park. You walk for a few hundred metres into a chasm that gets narrower and narrower. At around noon, the sund is shining into the very narrow chasm. It's a magical place and if you can be there for the moment when the sund touches the ground it's phantastc experience.
