This is the second time we have stayed here over the past two years. The first time we were so impressed we booked again; this time we were quite displeased with the changes and lack of customer service. At check in we were given a subterranean unit on the 1st floor with a view of the base of the palm trees - directly across from the parking lot with jackhammering construction daily. We had imagined due to how Expedia portrays the suites that we would have a higher level view unit like we did before - and when asked at the front desk were told those were only for owners NOT Expedia guests; upon further discussion we were able to get the hotel to change our room for an 8th floor unit a few days later. The front desk service has become VERY unpleasant; the activities staff are amazing; the food at the beach restaurant is wonderful; the place is well located - but it's obvious that they put little or no upgrades into the property - this will be our last stay sadly.
