The resort was great from what we could tell from only a two night stay. Food and drinks from the limited time was good. One dinner buffet was good, breakfast buffet was good, breakfast a la carte restaraunt was also good. We did not eat at the other two restaraunts for dinner. They REQUIRE reservations and the times are fixed which I was not happy about. 630 and 830 are the slots like a cruise ship, which is obsurd, especially the 830 one. Pool system was nice, lounge chairs on the beach are also nice. Staff all great. Our #1 complaint was the room and its a big one. A/C is not very good and we do not like cold rooms. Thermostat set all the way down at 68 and it was 74-75 degrees all day long and into the evening. The air movement in the room was very poor and we can't understand why no ceilng fans for vaulted ceilings. That would help immensely. Maintenance said it was working fine. We were on the fourth floor so maybe that didn't help. Also the balcony light stayed on all night long and the blackout curtains would not block the very bright light out. Annoying to have all the resort balcony lights on 24 hours a day. We liked the resort and we will come back but will try a different room. Im concerned if it was clear for 5 days in a row the room would be between 73-78 degrees, with no decent air movement and you cant sleep with the door open at night because the light is so BRIGHT! Liked the resort and ammenities but question the room a little.
